The University of Alabama Panhellenic Association invites the Tuscaloosa community to participate in its annual Easter Egg Hunt from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13, on the front lawn of the UA President’s Mansion.
The Delta Sigma Pi fraternity at The University of Alabama asks students, faculty and the Tuscaloosa community to participate in a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, at the Life South Bloodmobile, which will be parked on the north side of the UA Quad.
The University of Alabama’s Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity is sponsoring a “Be the Match on Campus” bone-marrow registration drive from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at the fraternity house, 202 University Blvd. on campus.
Thirteen sororities and fraternities at The University of Alabama are teaming up to host a philanthropic event, Jam for St. Jude, from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at the Sigma Nu fraternity house on campus. The event, which benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, is open to the public. Cost is $6 at the door.

The University of Alabama chapter of Order of Omega announced award recipients at their annual banquet held recently in Tuscaloosa. Order of Omega is the national honorary for fraternity and sorority members.
The University of Alabama Greek community will award its annual Greek Week grants as part of the Profiles in Service and Leadership Banquet on Tuesday, April 16.
The grants, which total $100,000, will be given to some 30 nonprofit organizations operating in and around Tuscaloosa. Recipient organizations are selected following a grant request application process.
