A one-day course titled “Cyberforce Security: Risk and Mitigation” will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at the Bryant Conference Center on The University of Alabama campus.

Dr. Craig S. Edelbrock has been named dean of the College of Continuing Studies at The University of Alabama. Edelbrock comes to UA from Penn State University where he has served as chancellor of the School of Graduate Professional Studies, associate dean of the Graduate School and professor of human development and family studies since 2008.

Rebecca J. Pow has been named interim dean of the College of Continuing Studies at The University of Alabama. Pow joined the College of Continuing Studies in 1988 and most recently served as senior associate dean and director of academic outreach.
