Betsy Plank, public relations legend and the namesake of The University of Alabama’s Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations, has been inducted posthumously into the 2015 Southern Public Relations Hall of Fame.
Former Southeastern Conference Commissioner Mike Slive will speak at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, in Graves Hall 118 on The University of Alabama campus. The talk is free and open to the public. Slive will discuss his tenure as SEC commissioner, specifically addressing the evolving role of the media during his time.
