Alabama Housing Affordability Index Highest Since First Quarter of 2005, According to UA Center - May 7, 2008
The good news for Alabama residents is that housing is again becoming more affordable for home buyers, according to the Alabama Center for Real Estate at The University of Alabama. The first quarter results from the Alabama Housing Affordability Index are the highest since the first quarter of 2005.
New College Ranking Places UA 7th in the Nation - May 7, 2008
A new ranking of colleges and universities ranks The University of Alabama seventh in the nation among public universities. The ranking also places UA 42nd among all national universities, both public and private.
