A nationally recognized expert on using database retrieval technology to help improve highway safety, Brown has developed database systems for such sponsors as NASA and the U.S. Army. His computerized traffic information system, known as CARE, is available over the Internet and is used by traffic safety professionals throughout the country to save lives and reduce injuries.
