Exhibit: Save the Sheep features works of art and craft by contemporary
hand spinners using wool from rare and endangered breeds of sheep,
and emphasizes the need to conserve these resources for the future.

of making fabric from a wool fleece shorn from a sheep on site!

Moundville Knap-In: A stone tool making meet that hosts flintknappers
from around the country who sell their wares and demonstrate the
ancient art of making arrowheads, spear points, and thousands of
other tools from stone. Spear throwing and primitive bow shooting
contests round out a fun-filled outing at one of North America's
most pristine Mississippian Indian mound sites. Moundville Archaeological
