With the first game of the season, well over 100,000 fans are expected to pack the University of Alabama campus.

Produced by Grant Premo, a recent graduate with a degree in business and management, and Matt Williams, a sophomore majoring in advertising…they contacted undergraduate admissions and Provost Judy Bonner, who approved the project, said Bill McDaniel, director of the broadcast, marketing and media department. "The best part about [iTour Bama] is it was 100 percent a student idea and student implemented," McDaniel said…
TransLoc tracks UA buses

…some students have added a new Web site to their morning routine - the University's TransLoc Web site, where they can see where CrimsonRide buses are on campus…Students can check TransLoc from any Internet access point including cell phones with Internet browsers and PDAs. A monitor displaying TransLoc is at the Campus Drive parking deck, and Clayton said more monitors have been ordered and will be set up in other high traffic areas…

The city of Tuscaloosa has been trying to improve physical activity among staff and citizens. Increasing enrollment and campus expansion are two issues no one on this campus can ignore. And we all know the problems these issues create: terrible traffic on campus, growing classroom size, construction everywhere…the Office of Greek Life seems to be meeting these changes head-on. To accommodate the 2007 pledge class - the largest pledge class to rush at the University thus far - they made changes to the recruitment week schedule, allowing them to better accommodate a larger number of women…Other student organizations should learn from Greek Life…
