Scholarship in Murphy's honor given to Kappa chapter's president

Brandy Nicole "Nikki" Murphy will be remembered not only for her warmth and charisma, but now for a scholarship created by her sorority, Delta Xi Phi. Murphy was a junior majoring in athletic training when she died in a car crash in Atlanta in November 2006. The first recipient of the scholarship is Kimberly Goins, who graduates from the Capstone Saturday with majors in Spanish and political science. Goins is the incoming president of the Kappa chapter of Delta Xi Phi and will put the $500 award toward her law school expenses…
