(L-R) Mary Jo Modica, director of The University of Alabama Arboretum, joins 3-year-old John Foster and his brother Brady, 7, to check out what’s growing in the UA Arboretum Children’s Garden. The new addition to the UA Arboretum is the creation of volunteer Brenda Ramey who has designed, planted and maintained the garden to be shared by children and parents. The boys are the sons of Randy and Sonya Foster of Tuscaloosa. In addition to being a proud dad, Randy Foster is the UA Arboretum groundskeeper.
