TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alumni and supporters of The University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing will celebrate the College’s 25th anniversary on Saturday, April 27.

The 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Capstone College of Nursing will be held from 3-6 pm at the Elizabeth Warner House, located at 11 Pinehurst Drive in Tuscaloosa. The event, to commemorate 25 years of excellence in nursing, will feature hors d'oeuvres and the George McCluney Trio, a jazz band.

The University of Alabama Nursing Alumni Association is sponsoring the celebration. Cost is $35 for Association members and $40 for non-members. For more information and to register, contact Holly Warr at 205/348-9876.

The Capstone College of Nursing program received full approval by the Alabama Board of Nursing in 1977 and has retained approval status by that board since. The College also maintains full accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
