UA’s Creative Campus Launches Crimson Arts Tickets

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Creative Campus Initiative at The University of Alabama is pleased to announce the launch of Crimson Arts Tickets. This cross-departmental venture will allow anyone the ability to reserve tickets to cultural arts events offered at UA with improved ease and availability.

Reservations for events offered by UA’s Department of Theatre and Dance, School of Music, Creative Campus Initiative, Ferguson Center, University Programs, and more can now be made in person at Crimson Arts Tickets’ physical location just outside of the Ferguson Center Theatre in room 217 or by calling 205-348-4CAT (4228). Office hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Real time reservations for e-tickets can also be made online 24 hours a day by logging on to www.crimsonartstickets.com.

The creation of a unified arts ticketing office for The University of Alabama has been a goal of the Creative Campus Initiative since a class of undergraduate honors students recommended the idea in 2005. Plans are in place to expand operations to offer ticketing solutions for campus student organization and departmental special events. For more information, email crimsonartstickets@ua.edu

“I am thrilled that the vision of the Honors Class of 2005 has now come to fruition. The opening of a unified box office was their number one objective to bring cohesion to UA arts and cultural offerings. UA Executive Vice President and Provost Judy Bonner has been steadfast in her support of Crimson Arts Tickets,” said Scott Bridges, director of the UA Creative Campus Initiative.

Crimson Arts Tickets is powered by the New York-based company, UniversityTickets, Inc., the world's leading provider of ticketing services for colleges and universities. www.universitytickets.com
