TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – William H. Lash III, assistant secretary of commerce for market access and compliance, will address The University of Alabama’s International Advisory Board on Nov. 6 at NorthRiver Yacht Club following dinner.

 He also will speak with students at 4:30 p.m. in the fourth floor parlor of Alston Hall. Prior to entering government service, Lash was professor of law at George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Va. His areas of expertise include international business transactions, international environmental law, regulation of foreign trade, and corporate acquisitions and mergers. Lash has served as a legal analyst for several national television networks.
