TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Lindsey Ladelle Fincher, daughter of Wayne and Carolyn Fincher of Hackleburg, has received a two-year tuition transfer scholarship to The University of Alabama.

Fincher, a 2001 graduate of Hackleburg High School, received an associate in science degree in business administration at Northwest-Shoals Community College where she served as Student Government Association president. She was also Phi Theta Kappa vice president of service at NWSCC and a member of the All-Alabama Academic Team. She is currently pursuing a degree at UA in business administration and marketing.
