TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama Ferguson Center, Stillman College and Shelton State Community College are presenting T-Town’s Best Dance Crew on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 6 p.m. in the Ferguson Center Ballroom.

The event is open to UA students, faculty and staff and the Tuscaloosa community.

“We hope by opening this event to surrounding colleges, high schools and community members that it will bring the Tuscaloosa community closer together,” said Eliza Adams, a Ferguson Center volunteer coordinator.

For the competition, there cannot be more than five people in a group, and each group must bring their own music to use during their five-minute audition.

Randy Jackson’s popular television show, “America’s Best Dance Crew,” inspired the development of T-Town’s Best Dance Crew. All types of dance are welcome at the event in an effort to expose attendants to a variety of dance genres and culture.
