Parents Invited to Campus for UA Family Weekend Sept. 16-18

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama Office of Parent Programs invites families of UA students to come visit campus during this year’s annual Family Weekend, Friday, Sept. 16-Sunday, Sept. 18.
“Family weekend is the perfect opportunity for parents and other family members to come visit their student’s home-away-from-home and learn how they can further support their student’s education,” said Sara Hartley, director of external affairs for UA Parent Programs, a division of Student Affairs.
The weekend will kick off Friday with college and school open houses, tours of the UA President’s Mansion and other events. Saturday events will be featured around the UA vs. North Texas football game. The weekend will conclude with a brunch on Sunday morning.
