UA Awarded Grant from Howard Hughes Medical Institute

Researchers in West Alabama are using a million dollar grant to cultivate the next generation of scientists. The Howard Hughes Medical Institute awarded the grant to the University of Alabama. The money goes towards teaching, and inspiring more young scientists. It pays for 24 students at Alabama, Shelton State and Stillman College to attend rotating classes at all 3 schools.
