Wheelchair Basketball Teams at UA Hosting BAMA FEVER Tournament

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama Men’s and Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Teams will host the second annual BAMA FEVER Intercollegiate Classic Wheelchair Basketball Tournament Friday-Saturday, Feb. 12-13.
The tournament will be played in the UA Recreation Center with UA hosting six teams from across the country; admission is free.
Both UA teams recently returned from a strong road trip in Edinboro, Penn. The Alabama women’s team, the defending National Champion, is 23-2 this season and the Alabama men’s team is 18-11.
The weekend tournament will feature double headers on Friday and Saturday nights at 6 and 8 p.m.
The UA women will play the University of Wisconsin Whitewater on Friday and Edinboro University on Saturday at 6 p.m. both nights.
The UA men will play Edinboro University on Friday and the University of Missouri on Saturday at 8 p.m. both nights.
