Miss UA Competition to be Held at Bama Theatre

TUSCALOOSA Ala. – The 2010 Miss University of Alabama competition will take place Saturday, Feb. 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the Bama Theatre in downtown Tuscaloosa.

With the reputation of being one of the most competitive Miss Alabama preliminary programs in the state, the Miss UA Program will have 14 contestants competing in categories of private interview, swimsuit/physical fitness, talent, evening wear and on-stage question.

The winner will go on to represent UA at the Miss Alabama Pageant in Birmingham in June. Additionally, she will receive a full-tuition scholarship for her year of service.

Tickets may be purchased from any contestant or at the Bama Theatre the night of the pageant.  Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for students and $5 for children under the age of 12.
