Seven UA Football Players to Receive Degrees at UA’s Dec. 12 Commencement

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — They’ve earned an SEC championship. Now they’ve earned their college degrees.

University of Alabama football players Javier Arenas, Terry Grant, Baron Huber, Marquis Johnson, Colin Peek, Leigh Tiffin and Roy Upchurch will be among the 1,000 graduates to receive degrees at UA’s winter commencement ceremonies, Saturday, Dec. 12 at 9 a.m. in Coleman Coliseum on the UA campus

Saturday’s ceremonies will be broadcast live over the Internet. The webcast will be archived on UA’s Web site, http://www.ua.edu, and will be available for viewing until December 31, 2009.

UA holds commencement ceremonies three times a year — in May, August and December.
