TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Students at The University of Alabama have the opportunity to learn more about various organizations on campus during “Get Involved, Get on Board!” day Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the Ferguson Plaza and Promenade from 10 a.m.-4:45 p.m.
Get on Board day, the student organization fair sponsored by the UA Office of Student Involvement and Leadership, is designed to get students involved in some of the 250 campus organizations. The event offers a “one-stop shop” for exploring what the organizations have to offer.
Held each fall, the event draws numerous students and faculty members to learn about the range of campus groups. From the wide variety, students can seek out organizations that interest them most. Participating organizations range from the academic and departmental groups to recreational organizations. The event will also feature some local vendors.
