TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama Panhellenic Association will host their annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 5, from 2-4 p.m. on the front lawn of the UA President’s Mansion.

Children up to 12 years old will have the opportunity to participate in the egg hunt. The hunt will divide the children into two groups, one half of the lawn will host the younger children and the other half will host the older children. This allows the children on each side of the lawn to hunt for prizes that are more suitable for their age group.

This year, the Easter Bunny will be making an appearance and families are encouraged to bring cameras for pictures.

“The egg hunt is Panhellenic’s way of reaching out to the community, bringing everyone closer together and showing that we do try to make a positive impact in the community,” said Meg Greer, UA Panhellenic representative. Greer goes on to say that Junior Panhellenic members host the event and it gives them an opportunity to take leadership roles.

The event is free and open to the public. In case of bad weather, the event will be rescheduled.
