UA Sororities, Fraternities Announce New Presidents

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama’s Greek community has elected new officers for 2009.
The following students are among the newly elected sorority presidents:
Alpha Chi Omega – Heather Pate, a marketing major from Birmingham
Alpha Delta Pi – Lauren Hobbs, a communication studies major from Andalusia
Alpha Gamma Delta – Stacey Summerville, an interior design major from Huntsville
Alpha Omicron Pi – Kayla Welch, a human development major from Tuscaloosa
Alpha Phi – Nicole Blum, a business and marketing major from Medina, Ohio
Chi Omega – Morgan Duffy, a biology major from Decatur
Delta Delta Delta – Anna Pendleton, an English major from Superior, Colo.
Delta Zeta – Sarah Beth Henderson, a public relations and political science major from Mobile
Gamma Phi Beta – Stephanie Riley, an elementary education major from Louisville, Ky.
Kappa Alpha Theta – Melanie Goodsell, a marketing major from Birmingham
Kappa Delta – Frances Watts, a finance major from Greenville
Kappa Kappa Gamma – Vance Irving, a nursing major from Atlanta
Phi Mu – Heather Hannah, a telecommunications and film major from Birmingham
Pi Beta Phi – Claire Green, an accounting major from Fairhope
Sigma Delta Tau – Miriam Fry, a political science major from Daphne
Zeta Tau Alpha – Kari Lochamy, a telecommunication and film major from Clay
