UA’s Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Hosting Event to Benefit March of Dimes Foundation

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama’s Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity will host their fifth annual “Fade to Black” social event to raise money for the March of Dimes Foundation on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 9:30 p.m. in the Ferguson Center Ballroom on campus.

Supporting the March of Dimes Foundation is one of Alpha Phi Alpha’s national programs; the fraternity raises and donates more than $1,000 each year to the foundation.

The attire for this social, fundraising event is semi-formal and all black. Music will be provided by a DJ and refreshments will be served. The event will also feature a black carpet where students can have their pictures taken by professional photographers.

Admission ranges from $5-$20 with a portion of the proceeds going to the March of Dimes Foundation. The event is exclusively for college students.
