Cookout to Benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation Hosted by Phi Delta Theta, Chi Omega at UA

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama chapters of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and Chi Omega sorority will co-host the second annual Make-A-Wish cookout on Thursday, Oct. 16 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on the front lawn of the Phi Delta Theta house on University Boulevard.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation enhances the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work.
Phi Delta Theta and Chi Omega have set a goal to raise $10,000 for the charitable cause at the cookout. Last year’s event raised some $6,000.
Tickets are available for $5 and will include a hamburger, chips, a drink and a cookie. There will also be live entertainment for guests.
