Wesley Clark News Briefing at UA Set for 2:30 P.M., Oct. 13

Retired U.S. Army Gen. Wesley Clark will meet with media at a news briefing at 2:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 13 at the Bryant Conference Center on The University of Alabama campus. The briefing will be in the Nichols Room.
Clark will present the Frank A. Nix Lecture at 4 p.m. in Sellers Auditorium, also at the Bryant Conference Center. The program, presented by UA’s Blackburn Institute, is open to the public. During 34 years of service in the U.S. Army, Clark rose to the rank of four-star general as NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander, Europe and is a highly decorated officer. In September 2003 he entered politics as a Democratic candidate for president of the United States.
