UA-AU Better Relations Day to be Nov. 1

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Student Government Association is hosting UA-AU Better Relations Day on Wednesday, Nov. 1 in Tuscaloosa.
The annual event, begun in 1947, brings together students, faculty and staff from UA and Auburn Universities to discuss the schools’ similarities and differences.
Some 120 attendees – including students, faculty and staff from both campuses — are expected for the 2006 event.
The day will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a welcome event at the UA Gorgas House.
A luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. in “The Zone” at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Speakers will be the governmental lobbyists for both schools.
