TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Creative Campus, Creative Community Initiative will be partnering with Ignition Gallery in downtown Northport to display a show of student artwork beginning Thursday, Nov. 2 from 6-9 p.m.
The opening of the student show on Nov. 2 will coincide with the Artrageous Riverfront Art Tour. The show will continue to be exhibited through November.
This program will give student artists a chance to showcase their work to the local community, according to Eliot Knight, UA Creative Campus intern. “The community will be able to see the extraordinary work that UA student artists are producing,” Knight noted.
There was an open call for submissions in any creative medium to be considered for the show, said Knight, who is leading the event.
