Tuscaloosa County Alumni Chapter Awards Record Number of UA Scholarships

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa County Alumni Association Chapter has awarded a record number of scholarships for the 2006-2007 academic year with 17 high school students from across Tuscaloosa County set to receive $39,064 in scholarships to attend UA.

Rebecca D. Pekera, Tuscaloosa Academy

The Tuscaloosa County UA Alumni Association chapter recently held a scholarship reception for the students and their families at the UA President’s Mansion.
