UA to Host College Bowl Tournament

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama and the Ferguson Center Student Union will be hosting the Association of College Unions International Region 6 College Bowl Tournament on Friday-Saturday, Feb. 24-25.

Representing UA will be campus tournament winners Matthew Kinney, Jason Benton, Daniel Salinas and Ben Foster. All of UA’s representatives are from Tuscaloosa and graduates of Holy Spirit High School.

Thirteen teams from the region will be competing to represent the region at the College Bowl National Championship Tournament to be held April 21-23 at the University of Hartford in Hartford, Conn. Some of the teams competing will include the University of Florida, University of Georgia, Florida State University and the University of South Alabama.
