INFORMATION RELEASE: Wesley Foundation Fire

At approximately 6:15 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2006, Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue, TPD, and UAPD responded to the Wesley Foundation at 505 9th Street on a fire call. Upon arrival, the fire had been extinguished. There was smoke in the room where the fire began but early indication was that there was no structural damage. There were no injuries. The origin of the fire has yet to be determined. Fire department personnel and UAPD are investigating the fire.
