Tuscaloosans Lynwood and Caroline Fulmer Establish Scholarship at UA

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Lynwood H. and Caroline S. Fulmer of Tuscaloosa recently established The Caroline S. Fulmer Endowed Scholarship for students majoring in financial planning in the College of Human Environmental Sciences (HES) at The University of Alabama.

Caroline Fulmer received a bachelor of science degree in financial planning from UA in 1972. She currently serves as an adjunct professor in HES’ consumer sciences department.

UA’s College of Human Environmental Sciences, established in 1917, offers degrees in apparel and textile, athletic training, consumer sciences, early childhood development, financial planning and counseling, food and nutrition, family and consumer science education, health studies, human development and family studies, and interior design. The college is well known for its comprehensive approach to higher education. Students seeking degrees in professional service industries are well served by its academic programs, classroom instruction, real-world experience and mentoring by seasoned faculty.
