UA Hosts National Intramural Club Soccer Championships

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama will host the National Intramural Recreational Sports Association Soccer Sport Club Championships Thursday, Nov. 17- Saturday, Nov. 19.
A record 76 men’s and women’s club teams from across the United States will be in Tuscaloosa to compete for the national championship title. The UA Recreation Center will be hosting events throughout the tournament at the Recreational Fields Complex located on Campus Drive.
NIRSA is a nonprofit membership organization that serves as a network for students and professionals in the recreational sports field. The organization assists sport club programs on university campuses nationwide. The sport club teams are student-led with funding from membership dues, fund-raisers and donations.
