Advisory Concerning Hurricane Katrina

The University of Alabama Emergency Response group is monitoring the progress of Hurricane Katrina and the possibility of severe weather for our area. Currently, the University is open and classes will be held as scheduled. If closings or cancellations are necessary later, information will be communicated via area media, campus-wide e-mail, the Web site, and voice mail notices. University officials are working with the Tuscaloosa County Emergency Management Agency and other agencies to monitor the situation and will respond accordingly.
