UA Hosts Girls Wheelchair Basketball Summer Camp

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama Disability Sports program and the department of kinesiology in the UA College of Education will host a wheelchair basketball camp for girls from June 20-24.

The camp is for girls ages 12-18 and will take place on the UA campus. Staff for the camp will include the Alabama Head Wheelchair Basketball Coach Margaret Stran, Assistant Coach Stephanie Wheeler and other top U.S.A. National Team players.

The focus of the camp will be on basketball; however, supplementary activities will include a pool party, movie night and bowling tournament.
