TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Career Center will continue its efforts to assist students in the job search process by hosting the Spring 2005 Career Fair on Feb. 16 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Ferguson Center Ballroom.

In preparation for the Career Fair, the Career Center will be hosting “Networking at the Career Fair” information sessions on Feb. 8 in 13 Bidgood Hall from 4-5 p.m. and on Feb. 14 in 300 Ferguson Center from 4-5 p.m.

The Career Fair is an opportunity for prospective employers to visit the campus and market their companies to potential employees. Job opportunities range from internships to full-time positions. Students are able to explore job opportunities from the comfort and convenience of campus; they are given the chance to talk to representatives and leave their resumes with the companies of their choice.

The Career Fair is open to all University of Alabama students both past and present. The first impression made on employers is often the most important one, so those who plan to attend the event are advised to dress in business attire and bring plenty of copies of their resume.
