UA Women’s Resource Center to Host Brown Bag Lunch

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Women’s Resource Center is hosting a Brown Bag Lunch on Friday, April 30, at noon in the Ferguson Forum.

The film “Girls Like Us” will be shown and followed with discussion. This film is a look at the challenges and accomplishments of four girls during their high school years. It reveals how class, sexism and violence impact dreams and expectations.

The public is welcome to attend this free event and the Women’s Resource Center encourages participants to bring a brown bag lunch.
