UA Coalition for Diversity and Inclusiveness Sponsors Lecture Series

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Coalition for Diversity and Inclusiveness is sponsoring the lecture and discussion series “Opening Doors, Embracing Race” based on the theme “Remembrance, Forgiveness and Reconciliation.”

On Wednesday, March 24, at 7:30 p.m. in 340 Bidgood Hall on campus, the lecture series will feature Al Brophy, UA law professor, who will discuss “The University of Alabama and Slavery: Memory, Apology and Redemption.”

The event is free and open to the public.
