SGA Run-Off Election Results Announced at UA

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Results of a run-off election for several senate seats in the Student Government Association at The University of Alabama were announced today by the UA Office of the Dean of Students.

Winners included:

College of Arts and Sciences SGA Senate – Nicholas Pourhassan of Montgomery

College of Education SGA Senate – Kevin Locke of Birmingham (zip code 35214)

Graduate School SGA Senate – Pat Samples and Margaret Phillips, both of Tuscaloosa

There remains a three-way tie for the remaining two Graduate School SGA Senate seats. An additional run-off election for these seats will be held on Friday, March 19, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the UA Dean of Students office.  The three candidates are Prince Cleveland of Birmingham (zip code 35221), Michael Price of Dothan and James B. Enoch of Ooletwah, Tenn.
