UA Student Newspaper to Hold Anniversary Reunion for Area Alumni at Hoover Met

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Crimson White (CW), The University of Alabama’s award-winning, student-run newspaper, will hold a 110th anniversary reunion reception for Birmingham area alumni on Thursday, Feb. 5, at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.

The reunion will begin at 5:30 p.m. The event will include a drawing to win a roundtrip, all-inclusive vacation package for two to Cancun, Mexico, courtesy of Travel Planners.

The CW, Tuscaloosa’s oldest continuously publishing newspaper, is celebrating its 110th anniversary throughout the year by holding reunion receptions in Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile, Huntsville and Tuscaloosa. For more information, call UA’s Office of Student Media at 205/348-7257.
