UA Circle K to Hold Luminaries on the Quad Holiday Event

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Chapter of Circle K International will be lighting up the campus on Sunday, Dec. 7, with its annual “Luminaries on the Quad” event.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m., candle-lit bags will adorn the Quad, bringing the holiday season to campus. The event will also include holiday music played on Denny Chimes beginning at 5:30 p.m. Hot chocolate will be available at no charge, although donations for the fund-raiser are encouraged.
The luminary ceremony is a 25-year tradition of the University chapter of Circle K International. This year, all proceeds will go to purchase gifts for residents of the William D. Partlow Development Center.
Individuals and businesses that would like to make a donation can mail their contribution to UA Circle K, PO Box 861954, Tuscaloosa, AL 35486. The ceremony is open to the public.
