Student Receives Top UA Scholarship

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Robert D. Walker II of Fulton, Miss., has been awarded a Presidential Scholarship from The University of Alabama. The Presidential Scholarship pays at least the value of tuition per academic year and is renewable for four academic years of undergraduate work.
Walker graduated eighth in his class at Itawamba County Agricultural High School, where he served as the school’s class president as a junior and senior. He was also an Eagle Scout in local Troop 32, logging over 300 hours of community service.
A state semi-finalist for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award, he played football, golf and placed fifth in power lifting.
